Taylor Credit Union Contributes to Rib Lake Band Shell Project

Taylor Credit Union is excited for the future of Rib Lake and made a donation towards the new band shell project. Friends of Rib Lake have been fundraising towards their goal of a band shell in Rib Lake. Their mission is to help revitalize and promote the opportunities and small town atmosphere Rib Lake has to offer. The band shell is planned to be located in the Ice Age Park and serve as a dedicated space for outdoor concerts, performances, community events, and more.

Thank you to our members and community for donating food to the News 9 WAOW Food Drive this past couple of weeks! Together, we collected over 470 pounds of food and $360 in cash donations to help families in Taylor County. All food collected went to ICAA-Taylor County.
Taylor Credit Union Employee’s Give Back

Huey's Hideaway Children's Museum is needing a new roof for their building and our Medford MSR's wanted to contribute towards their goal with a donation from the Taylor Credit Union Denim Dollars Employee fund. Each quarter, a different department gets to choose where they would like to contribute money. It's their way of making a difference and giving back to the communities we serve in exchange to wear jeans on Fridays.
Taylor Credit Union’s March Into Reading Raises $2,200 for the Taylor County Literacy Council

Thank you to all of our members who helped us in supporting literacy among all ages through our annual March Into Reading fundraiser! Together, we were able to raise $2,200 for the Taylor County Literacy Council. These monies will support literacy programs around Taylor County including their Little Free Libraries, mental health awareness and resources, free book & movie events, family literacy and game nights, and more!
Taylor Credit Union Welcomes Dan Krause as President/CEO

Medford, WI – Taylor Credit Union is excited to introduce Dan Krause as their President/CEO successor to Debbie Woods who retired after serving 24 years with the credit union. A native of Westboro, WI, Krause is a graduate of UW-Eau Claire and the Graduate School of Banking at UW-Madison. Dan brings over three decades of local financial experience in Taylor, Clark, Price, Marathon and adjoining markets to his new leadership role.
Outside his daily routine, Krause serves as a board member and executive committee member on the Clark County Economic Development and Tourism Bureau, a member of the Clark County Revolving Loan Fund committee, volunteer with the Taylor County 4-H Youth Leadership Organization, and a member of the Village of Dorchester planning commission. His family is also active in various community organizations along with school sports and extracurriculars.
“Dan’s extensive 30-year background in finance and his strong local connections within the communities we serve, will be beneficial to him in this new leadership role,” said Mike Handel, board chairman of Taylor Credit Union.

Taylor Credit Union & Elan Donate to Neighbor to Neighbor of Taylor County

Medford, WI – Taylor Credit Union, in partnership with Elan Credit Cards and Elan Charitable Giving Program, is excited to announce a $12,500 donation to Neighbor to Neighbor of Taylor County.
Taylor Credit Union was one of a select number of credit unions across the country to choose a charity that would receive this donation in partnership with Elan Charitable Giving Program. Neighbor to Neighbor of Taylor County provides in-home modifications for Taylor County homeowners to remain safely in their home. This donation will allow Neighbor to Neighbor of Taylor County to build their inventory of reusable ramps to provide homeowners a safe entrance into and exit from their home.
“It is great to be able to present Neighbor to Neighbor with this donation as their services allow Taylor County residents the ability to stay in their own home while recovering from a medical situation,” said Tony Meyer, Taylor Credit Union Marketing Coordinator.
