What is the Student Credit Union?

Student Credit Union is our financial education program that operates in three of our local schools.

  • Holy Rosary Catholic School – Medford, WI

  • Immanuel Lutheran School – Medford, WI

  • Abbotsford School District – Abbotsford, WI

    • Abbotsford Elementary

    • Abbotsford Middle School

    • Abbotsford High School

Each year, students are hired to staff the Student Credit Union. To be selected as a volunteer team member, students complete a job application, go through an interview, and train to learn about the operations of the Student Credit Union.

Student Credit Union is open once a week at each school, usually in the morning, allowing students and staff to complete transactions in their accounts.

How does my child participate?

There are two easy steps to follow for your child to be eligible to participate in the Student Credit Union:

  1. Your child will need to attend one of the three schools listed above.

  2. Open a savings account at Taylor Credit Union.

Students who currently have a savings account at Taylor Credit Union are ready to go!
